Smart street light project on 3A scenic spot in Hunan Province, China

Xiangjia Village is located in Shaoyang City, Hunan Province. It was once listed as a poverty-stricken village in Longhui County due to its relatively weak development foundation and the hardship of local people.

In 2014, Xiang Yangjiang, a private entrepreneur from Group 7 of Xiangjia Village, decided to “relocate his registered permanent residence back to the village and bring his own funds for assistance” and set a pledge to the government and the people of Xiangjia Village to “work hard for three years and ensure "military order" to get rid of poverty.

He said, "I have become rich myself, but I cannot forget the hometown where I was born and raised!" Since then, Xiangjia Village has opened a new chapter in its development.
